Garden Harvest Season – Big Sun's First Kumquats and Sấu

Big Sun's school garden welcomes its first fruit harvest season — golden kumquats and refreshing sấu clusters. Few fruits but enough for the little ones to experience, admire, and taste. The trees are growing fast!

There's something truly special about Big Sun Kindergarten that not every school can offer — our very own outdoor activity garden, where rows of lush green trees grow day by day alongside our children. And this season, the school garden has begun to bear fruit!

🌿 A Little Garden – A Big World for Little Ones

Big Sun's outdoor garden is not just a place for children to run, climb, and play — it's also the most vibrant "nature classroom" the school offers. From vegetable beds and flower pots to fruit trees, every corner of the garden is a lesson about nature, about life, and about the patience of waiting.

🍊 Kumquat and Sấu Season: The Garden's First Harvest

This year, Big Sun's garden welcomed its first fruit season with golden kumquats and refreshing clusters of sấu (Vietnamese olive). Although the trees are still young and the fruits are few, it was more than enough for the children to have a truly memorable fruit-picking experience — seeing with their own eyes, touching with their own hands, and tasting the sweet-and-sour flavors grown right in their own school garden!

👐 Learning, Playing, and Tasting All at Once

Guided by their teachers, each child got to pick ripe fruit directly from the trees, observe colors, smell the fragrance, and experience the distinctive sour-sweet-tart flavors. This is a far more effective way to learn about plants, seasons, and nature than any textbook — because the children are living the lesson, not just listening to it.

🌱 Few Fruits Today – Many More Next Year!

Teachers and children care for the garden together — watering the trees every morning, picking up dry leaves, and watching day by day as the trees sprout, flower, and fruit. The children at Big Sun today are learning a lesson more valuable than any knowledge — the lesson of patience, love of work, and appreciation for the small gifts of nature.

The trees are growing fast, and next season will bring a much fuller harvest. We believe that the mornings spent watering plants, admiring ripe fruit, and squealing with delight while picking it — will become the most beautiful childhood memories these children carry throughout their lives.

🌞 The Garden – A Place That Nourishes the Soul

Big Sun's garden will continue to grow and flourish with each season. The school plans to plant more fruit trees and clean vegetables so children have even more opportunities to connect with nature — planting, nurturing, and harvesting with their own hands. Because we understand that — a child who loves nature will grow into a person who cherishes life.
